Our Mental Health Team is made up of regulated professionals that are either Registered Social Workers, Registered Social Service Workers, Registered Psychotherapists or Mental Health Therapists.  They work with children through to seniors and provide therapy for a variety of issues that may include:

  • Depression, Anxiety, Grief and Bereavement, Trauma/Abuse, Behavioral/Attention Concerns,
  • School/Work related concerns, Issues related to loss or adjustment

Our team is skilled at assessing and treating psychosocial and mental health problems.  We strive to assist patients with learning new ways to respond to stressful events that impact their lives. We use evidence-based modalities for both individual and group counselling and we take a strengths-based approach to help patients develop skills and improve their coping capacity to enhance positive change.  We are also advocates for patients who are in need of referrals to other community based programs and professionals. If you are a rostered patient and in need of mental health/counselling supports please speak to your health care provider about a referral, or you may request this service on your own by calling in to the clinic.
